Arranged for mountain dulcimer in standard DAd (1-5-8) tuning. Contains two arrangments: Intermediate variation in the key of A and an Advanced variation in the key of D. Both include lyrics, lead sheet notation, and accompaniment chords.
Intermediate (4 pages): Requires the 1+ fret. Approachable tablature with moderate ornamentation, played lower on the fretboard.
Advanced (6 pages): Requires the 0+, 1+, 7+, and 8+ frets as written. However, the 0+ is indicated in only one measure of the intro and the 7+ in one measure of the instrumental break. Can be omitted or acomplished with a simple bend at the player's discretion. Played slightly higher on the fretboard and with more ornamentation. Optional extended instrumental break captures more of the flavor of the great guitar work from Eric and Geddy Lee in the original composition.
