It is intended to be a reflective piece to think of one's homeland or place they love.
It is written in concert D major a traditional song format, with verses, choruses and middle eight. It is a slow sentimental contemplative piece written with the intermediate player in mind- the flute range is one and a half octaves with the lowest note F sharp.
Full score is nine pages long, Flute 3 pages, Piano 6 and around six minutes in length.
