This is probably the most massed played piece of music on Remembrance Day's events and Tattoos.
It starts with Scholefield's "Evening" Hymn "The day Thou gavest, Lord, is ended", shortly interrupted by The Last Post. It ends with Sunset, a traditional bugle song. The latter is arranged in 3 to 4 note voicing for trumpets, horns and trombones, making the finale even more solemnly and impressing.
There are several good performances to listen to on Youtube. This arrangement s' approach is as close as possible to what military bands play. It's beauty wil move your audience to tears of proudness and respect.
