Composed by Traditional. Arranged by John McAllister. Baroque,Classical. Score and parts. 48 pages. John McAllister #6417137. Published by John McAllister (A0.778203).

This is an adaptable quintet arrangement of the famed "Sailor's Hornpipe." Rather than have the highest pitch instrument play the melody the entire time, it passes from instrument to instrument throughout. This is meant to make it a bit more interesting to play for the performers, but also add variety to a tune that's been arranged in so many settings. This will also make it more achievable by younger players by breaking it up some.

This piece can be played by:
Brass Quintet
Brass Choir
Woodwind Quintet / Mixed Woodwind Ensemble
Clarinet Quintet
Saxophone Quintet or Ensemble.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
