The Godzilla Theme was composed by Akira Ifukube (1914-2006) for the 1954 Japanese kaiju film "Godzilla" - the first film in the Godzilla franchise.

Ifukube's composition became an iconic part of film music history, and was used in many other Godzilla films and sequels.

In the 2019 film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" (the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise, directed by Michael Dougherty) the Godzilla main theme ("Godzilla Main Title") is the second track on the film's soundtrack (Godzilla: King of the Monsters - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).

For the 2019 film, it was arranged by Bear McCreary.
