Published by James McDonald (A0.885736).Inside the Mage's cavern is an intermediate piece for solo piano. This is part of my Halloween Pack. This piece depicts the magical and mysterious atmosphere that reigns inside the cavern where the Mage practices his white magic. The cavern is full of strange old books about magic, crystals of all colours lying everywhere, different kinds of powerful wands which the Mage swings slowly up and down, left and right and also a lot of colourful potions in myriads of little bottles. Pedagogically the melody uses plenty of semitones related to the different chords used throughout the piece and some strange hammered-out chords illustrating the spells produced by the Mage. The piece is relatively easy to learn. Enjoy!
