Brass Ensemble Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.872884

Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Peter A. Drahozal. Baroque,Christian,Christmas,Classical,Folk. Score and parts. 23 pages. MusicPAD Music Publications #5159. Published by MusicPAD Music Publications (A0.872884).

The ancient "Twelve Days of Christmas" tune is very light-heartedly set for mixed brass ensemble. The usual scoring is for two trumpets, one trombone and one tuba. Bonus extra parts include a F-horn part (substitute for the 2nd trumpet) and treble-clef trombone part (useful for "baritone converts" or adventuresome trumpet players). This is an extremely entertaining and colorful piece which utilizes the full register of every instrument. Ossia notes are included where needed to assist developing players. This piece requires considerable preparation and a high degree of ensemble direction as it is full of tempo changes, cæsuras, fermatas, etc.
