Published by Rachel Brown (A0.954346).Number 7 of the 8 ( I have all 8 available) and the most common - often being referred to as being the only one many people don't realise the others exist. I have written this at the original intended speed (as you can hear on the demo mp3) but of course you can slow it down. However once you see the piece in the context of the other 8 I think you might prefer the original speed - it's a bit of a finger twister so you might want to drop the grace notes until you've got it!
It is intended to be emotional - not perhaps humorous as some may think - originally these were intended to be Scottish dances and this one does certainly have the more playful elements of the pieces. Dvorak wrote these basically after a period of people watching on his travels mainly throughout the Americas - and that is why I always play this at the intended speed :)
I also have backing tracks available for this if you don't have an accompanist. I have the full speed version and also a slower version which can be used for practice or if you are of the 'play it slow' camp :)
