Intermezzo I by Danish minimalist composer Soren Moller is the first of four Intermezzi for vibraphone and marimba. Originally composed for the Tuòpali Dùo (Spain) the music was premiered in Auditorio De Tenerife in 2015. The music of the Copenhagen based Soren Moller draws on influences from Moller’s tenth year residency in New York. It is Minimalism as experienced through the ears of a European composer and performer of many genres. Besides his classical composition endeavors Soren Moller is also a gifted jazz pianist. He has composed and arranged for various big bands throughout the World and composed for the theater to critical acclaim.
