    For the price...not bad.
These mics are really not that bad. I needed several that would be the same volume and frequency so these hit the spot.Do they sound like professional microphones? No. Are they durable? No, in fact the plastic casing cracked when dropped a very short distance. However, they are usable. The cords are actually not terrible if you need a 1/4 inch input (which I did for 2 of them). You'll be better served with an XLR to XLR...but those cost more than these mics.I brought one to a friend's house for a karaoke party and it did the job well. For podcasting, they sound a little thin (no low end), but were acceptable as a temporary solution. In short, I've used 10 dollar Radio Shack mics that sound MUCH worse than these. It's nice that they put a real female XLR connector on it. The on/off switch is a nice touch. Throw one in your cart and see what you think for yourself! You never know when you'll need a backup.
