My go to picks!
Riegour 30.11.2020
My absolute favorite picks! They are relatively thin but very sturdy. They don't bend - unless you play very very hard and even then they might bend a little. I love that! They are very solid.

Grip is great, the gel material is smooth but grippy. As far as durability goes, I've bought this 72-piece pack and I'm gifting these picks left and right and I don't think I'll ever need to buy new ones.
Even when they wear down a bit they feel great, they get a nice rounded shape!

Been using these for ages - I've tried way more expensive picks like Gravity - but these take the cake. Affordability, feel, durability, sound - they've got it all!

Best in class Dunlop picks!
Anonymous 08.03.2016
It's a long time I mess around with music and in particular with guitar (mainly electric, but also acoustic). As a semi-pro musician I have tested almost any major brand's picks on the market!
Any time it happens that I fall in love with one, and I say: "well, this is my Holy Grail...!" but a few months later the romance is over, and I get seeking for a new love.
Always wondering what the best choice could be, between mediums and heavies, gels or plastics, etc...
Heavy pick are great for electic guitars, which are the ones I spent more time with, but generally suck when playing acoustic... Also material matters, and if plastic or rubbish stuff sound great when playing jazz, they might reveal unappropriate for other genres (e.g. hard rock, or fusion...).
This never ending journey ended a sunny day of some years ago, when I hit the Dunlop Gels Heavy Red.
Today I can say THEY ARE MY HOLY GRAIL, and I do not have any further need for swapping pick, when moving from electric to acoustic, no matter which kind of music I am playing.
Of course pick choice strongly depends on personal taste, but it seems those gels are way far sough after in my music community.
Nevertheless good picks are quite sensitive to strong use and they could get worn out half way during a gig. That's why I was more than happy when seen this value pack sold on Thomann site.
That's a great deal and I will never run out of my preferred picks anymore!!

Parfait pour moi !
ronalla 08.04.2020

Genau mein Ding

Was soll man zu Plektren schreiben?
