I replaced the (unknown) strings that came on my Recording King concert banjolele with these, and it sounds so much better! The banjolele had sounded kind of dull with the original strings, and it now has a more lively, banjo-y sound.
I had also tried the LaBella banjolele strings, but the Aquilas win hands-down. Highly recommended!
2018: Still loving these strings, and it's (probably past) time to order more. I now also have a TFW banjolele, and you can bet I put this strings on it straightaway - it sounds even better than the Recording King. I'm trying out a Fremont Soloist low G string but I think a 'regular' wound string would be better so will be trying the Aquila 9U for just the low G. Too bad they don't make low G banjolele strings.
