Der Klotz ist noch relativ handlich - etwa faustgroß.
Die Konstruktion ist natürlich sehr simpel. Daher kann man da nicht viel falsch machen.
Das Holz ist schön leicht und glatt, der Kork verhindert Kratzer. Die Anti-Rutschmatte ist auch hilfreich. Das ganze kommt in einem kleinen Stoffbeutelchen.

Was ich besonders gut finde ist die runde Form. Dadurch passt sich der Winkel der Auflagefläche immer dem Winkel des Gitarrenhalses an. Egal wo am Hals man das Ding platziert.

Es ist natürlich etwas niedrig. Es heißt ja auch "Baby Cradle". Bei meiner LTD EC 256 (Single Cut) hat die Kopfplatte nicht mehr viel Abstand zum Tisch (etwas weniger als eine Hand breit). Wenn ich mehr Abstand brauche (um zB die Mechaniken besser drehen zu können) packe ich ein Buch drunter. Mich stört das bei solchen Helferlein nicht; ich mag's lieber handlich als groß.

Für unterwegs sicher besser als einige größere Varianten.
