A lyric melody arches with grace announcing a sense of sacred purpose sweetened at first in duet with unison men and then thickened with engaging four-part textures. The piano accompaniment is supportive and articulates the ballad style with effective arpeggios and tasteful figurations and the optional cello is a crowning touch.
