Mendelssohn's 12 juvenile symphonies are more than the scholastic exercises of a compositionally precocious twelve-year-old. Mendelssohn assimilates some vastly different influences (Bach, Mozart, Dittersdorf, etc. ) and attains an amazing originality in certain movements. The source-critical scores of the string symphonies were issued a fairly long time ago as part of the Leipzig Mendelssohn Edition. Eislers complete oeuvre (only a limited number of his works had penetrated the publics awareness up until the 1990s) first became the object of an editorial undertaking when the Eisler - Gesammelte Werke (EGW) was founded by Nathan Notowicz. It was later placed under the direction of Manfred Grabs and Eberhardt Klemm, and began issuing its publications in 1968 through the intermediary of the Deutscher Verlag fur Musik in Leipzig. However, only four volumes of music and five volumes of writings were published. The Hanns Eisler Complete Edition pursues the work begun at that time, although it has had to fundamentally revise its editorial principles. In this respect, the Hanns Eisler Complete Edition can be considered as a completely new editorial undertaking. Jahrhundert.Wie so viele Komponisten der Klassik, beschrieb Krommer die Aritkulation von kaum mehr als ein paar Phrasen seiner Soli für Bläser. Infolgedessen nahmen sich die einzelnen Spieler viel Freiheiten, wo und wann sie angestoßen oder gebunden spielten. Artikulation für Bläser, genau wie Bogenbewegung für Streicher, mussflexibel in ihrer Auslegung und Durchführung sein. Die richtige Spielweise ergibt aus dem technischen Können und der Ausdrucksstärke des jeweiligen Spielers. Der Dirigent sollte dies zusammen mit seinem Solisten erarbeiten. Après une longue période d’infortune, il entre comme Maître de Chapelle au service du Duc Ignaz Fuchs, en 1806. Quatre ans plus tard, il est nommé au poste de directeur musical du Thé tre Royal et Impérial de Vienne (Wiener Hoftheater). En 1818, succédant Leopold (Johann Anton) Kozeluch, il devient le dernier Maître de musique de chambre et compositeur de la cour des Habsbourg. Il gardera ses fonctions jusqu’ sa mort en 1831.Franz Krommer était l’un des plus illustres compositeurs tchèques de la Vienne impériale vers la fin du XVIIIe siècle. Sa musique était très appréciée de son vivant et certains le considéraient comme le digne héritier de Joseph Haydn. Son style est indéniablement apparenté ce dernier mais aussi celui de Mozart.
