Low Voice (in G) and Piano-Albert H. Malotte (1895-1964) was an American composer pianist and educator. Although he wrote the scores for several popular Disney films he is best remembered for his 1935 setting of The Lord s Prayer which has been recorded by John Charles Thomas Doris Day Gracie Fields Elvis Presley Susan Boyle and many many others. It is often said to draw inspiration from Schubert s Ave Maria as the melody is very similar but there is little evidence that the composer intended it that way. It remains very popular for use at weddings and in church services especially in the United States. Malotte s Lord sPrayer has been arranged for Low Voice and Piano in the key of G.
