Tristan Keuris was an award-winning Dutch composer of the 20th century. His Canzone was originally composed for the Tromp Benelux Music Competition in 1990, so is replete with technical challenge. It was originally written for clarinet and has here been scored for Alto Saxophone by Raaf Hekkema.Hekkema is an internationally celebrated Saxophonist who is best known, perhaps, for scoring and recording Paganini's Caprices for Saxophone solo.
