Piano Works II / Oeuvres pour piano II-In addition to the existing Songs without Words HN327 Henle are now offering nearly all of Mendelssohn's Piano compositions in two new extensive Urtext volumes (HN860 and HN861). All of the works (see Contents) have beenmeticulously revised and extensive commentaries reflect the latest in scholarly research. Thus Henle are able to offer a comprehensive Urtext edition of Mendelssohn’s piano works that is unique in this form. It replaces theirprevious volume of selected Piano works (HN 281).
