Diese Sammlung vereint rund 50 alte und neue Chorsätze unter dem Motto des Trierer Chorfestivals 2015 ?Gott liebt diese Welt'.Motetten, Volkslieder und Geistliche Lieder, Spirituals, Wechselgesänge sowie Kanons in verschiedenen Sprachen und Besetzungen sind vertreten und machen sie zur idealen Grundlage für das Singen in der Messe, im Gottesdienst und bei Chorbegegnungen. Die Sammlung ist insbesondere auch auf Kinder- und Jugendchöre zugeschnitten.Im Juli 2015 findet unter dem Dach des Bistums Trier das 7. Deutsche Chorfestival ?Pueri Cantores' statt. Grundsatz des Deutschen Chorverbandes ?Pueri Cantores' ist die Begegnung durch gemeinsames Singen. Missa brevis pour choeur mixte et huit instruments à vent op. 5 a été créé en 1951 et a été créée au Festival de Donaueschingen de musique contemporaine de l'année suivante. L'Ordinaire de la messe (Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Agnus Dei) a été composé à l'aide d'un dessin technique modale sur des exemples médiévaux. L'utilisation d'instruments à vent ajoute à la richesse sonore du choeur, élargissant ainsi le spectre sonore d'une manière intéressante. La pièce est adaptée à la fois pour la liturgie et le concert. From his best known larger work Requiem in D minor Fauré's Sanctus is set here for 3-part mixed and SSA voices. Many of the movements from the Requiem have been used in movies and television making itlikely that your young singers have heard parts of it before. This choral arrangement makes a beautiful selection for concert and festival.

Missa Sancti Martini. Par MISKINIS VYTAUTAS. The Latvian composer Vytautas Miškinis (*1954) has become one of the internationally most prominent composers of the middle generation from the Baltic States. Initially, 'Missa brevis', which is subtitled 'Missa Sancti Martini' in honour of the patron saint of the Mainz Cathedral, was originally commissioned by the girls' choir of the Cathedral and of St. Quintin's Church in Mainz. The world premiere, however, did not take place until this year as part of the international choral festival 'Europa Cantat' in Mainz. With regard to form and duration, the composition follows the traditional form of the Latin missa brevis without credo. Mozart Requiem (K.626) (Ostrzyga completion) (Full Score) This publication offers a source-critical edition of Mozart’s fragmentary “Requiem” as well as an alternative to the traditional Süssmayr version. It makes it possible to perform 1) the fragment, identified in print in both the score and the parts, 2) the authentic sections left incomplete by Mozart, now in a stylistically appropriate orchestration, and 3) those sections missing entirely in the fragment, newly added in Mozart’s idiom taking into account historical additions by Süssmayr and Eybler. When completing the fragment, the editor drew on comprehensive comparative and analytical studies of Mozart’s church style and compositional workmanship. The influence of Handel and Bach manifested in his final years, particularly in the “Requiem” fragment, is taken into account in those sections requiring completion or fresh composition. At two points readers may choose between alternative movements (or sections), since proceeding from Süssmayr’s historical version, two divergent options cannot be weighed against each other but each one may well reflect Mozart’s intentions: the “Lacrimosa” may end with or without “Amen” fugue, and the “Sanctus” may begin in the customary D major or in D minor. Full Score-John Rutter's Magnificat is a joyous celebration of the Virgin Mary inspired by feast-day festivities in countries such as Spain Mexico and Puerto Rico. Following the example set by Bach the Magnificat text is extended incorporating the fifteenth-century English poem 'Of a Rose' the prayers 'Sancta Maria' and the 'Sanctus' (set to the Gregorian chant of the Missa cum jubilo).
