A reprint edition of these important vocal works by the turn-of-the-century French composer, Cécile Chaminade (1857-1944). Affiliating herself with nationalist composers such as Saint-Saëns and Gounod, her style was very much rooted in both Romantic and French tradition. Her tuneful and highly accessible works were also tremendous favorites in the United States. Chaminade's Album of Songs was originally published between 1892 and 1893 and included thirty-seven total songs across two volumes, with versions for both high voice and low voice made available. LudwigMasters has made all thirty-seven songs available, with three books for each volume, totaling six books each for both high and low voices. Included in Volume 1, Book 3: Amour d'automne (W276, 1889); Souhait (W264, 1886); Colette (W285, 1891); L'absente (W271, 1886); L'anneau d'argent (W284, 1891); Amoroso (W283, 1891); Sur la plage (W286, 1892).

Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann was originally recorded by the German female singer Nena in the eighties as a single in Germany. It was featured on her third studio album Feuer und Flamme. In 2002, Nena celebrated twenty years as a recording artist with an album full of new versions of her hit songs. Together with the British female pop singer Kim Wilde - another pop icon of the eighties - she recorded the English version of Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann, entitled Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime. The song was released as a single in 2003 and became a top ten hit in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann werd in de jaren tachtig opgenomen door de Duitse popzangeres Nena als single voor de Duitse markt. De song verscheen tevens op Feuer und Flamme, haar derde studioalbum. In 2002 vierde Nena haar twintigjarigjubileum als artiest met een album vol nieuwe versies van haar hits. Samen met de Britse popzangeres Kim Wilde - eveneens een popicoon uit de jaren tachtig - nam ze de Engelstalige versie op van Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann,getiteld Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime.
