Written for my granddaughter — a gentle, flowing
waltz. She is an exquisite and graceful dancer and
inspired me to write this piece this morning. Close
your eyes and just drift away: Bare stage, soft
lighting, an imaginary partner, an empty theatre.
Such a gracious response to this music. Thank you so much. I can quite easily transpose the piece to any key you?d like. Just provide me with an e-mail address and I can work up a pdf and send it to you. contact me at: CynMar1@sbcglobal.net
Wow Paul! This is sumptuous! I can absolutely picture a swanlike dancer gliding across a stage or ballroom. I can play this in B on my pedal harp, but if I want to make it more easily playable on the lever harp as it is normally tuned, I would probably change the key it is in. Do you feel that the key of E would be acceptable to convey a similar mood, or would you be kind enough to suggest a key that would best do so? Thanks!
