Eric Symons was born in Hollywood, CA in 1961, and began his guitar and music studies at age 10. At age 13 he began weekly studies with Celedonio Romero in guitar technique, Spanish music interpretation and transcription. At age 15 he became a prodigy of Angel Romero, who trained him to be a concert artist. at age 20 Eric performed "Concierto del Sur" by Ponce with the Reno Philharmonic while attending the Boston Conservatory of Music. Eric also studied composition with noted Hollywood Film composers Lyle Murphy, and Jerry Fielding, and Eric has also written numerous works for guitar and chamber music, along with scores for short films.
Eric has also toured and performed throughout the US, Asia, Spain and South America as a soloist and in concert with his mentor, Angel Romero, to excellent critical acclaim. (Retracter) ... (lire la suite)
