| Ryan Marttala is a Canadian composer and collaborative multi-instrumentalist with an “anything goes” performance background, encouraging amateur music making as a private music teacher and choral director, while making his original scores available on his music site, Muse Excite. His creative endeavours in the auditory arts include composing concert music, creating electroacoustic sound art, experimenting with post-Schenkerian pantonal expansion, exploring the powers of story and art to create insight, adding music to silent film (and vice versa), and identifying or creating texts which support pluralistic co-existence and the use of reason.
