I was always interested in music: listening, playing or creating.
I never wanted to become a professional musician - creating something new and unusual was what interested me the most, and the more avantgarde the better.
I attended music school a few years of primary school, but quit because of my abilities at that time appeared closer to the art then music.
Only when I was 13 or 14-year old, I really got interested in teaching myself how to play guitar, and later other musical instruments.
The only way I could save all my ideas was on tape, because reading musical notation seemed to difficult and made no sense to me.
Medias have changed, so I started capturing my musical ideas on digital storages.
As soon as I figured out there's such a wide variety of music making/programming software available, I immediately got interested in CakeWalk, Finale, later Cubase etc. That was my activity after school, that was my hobby after art studies, and that's my entertainment, hobby after work.
I've played in several one-night musical groups: as a drummer, as a guitarist, and finally as a bassist, but I've had enough just after several gigs - that just became a routine, that I did not want to have in my life. I never had trouble memorising complex music by ear, but I can only waste time on making my own ideas come true.
I guess I'm still searching for the best way or media to express my musical ideas to the public.
The more weird the music - the better :) (Hide extended text) ... (Read all)
