Américo) Canhoto (Jacomino (1889 - 1928)
Américo Jacomino ( São Paulo 12 February 1889 - 7 September 1928 ) was a guitarist Brazilian , known for Canhoto because he played the strings with the left hand, without reversing the tuning of the instrument. Canhoto was responsible for "finishing" of this instrument in Brazil . The guitar was, until his time, considered as an instrument of lesser importance, and one even said that only marginal in playing.
Which made him the most famous was probably his vibrato. When he executed the vibrato , not only hand trembled, but his entire body.
