Interview by Moving Classics TV
Written on 2017-02-24 by sylvain-guinet Interview with a French
composer Sylvain Guinet -
"to compose is to reveal
oneself, to define oneself, to
be exposed and
vulnerable". He thinks
music is a very powerful art.

"Yuko Takamatsu"
Written on 2014-07-06 by sylvain-guinet Japanese, Mr Takamatsu,
decided to learn to dive to
search the sea in the wild
hope of finding his wife, who
died there 3 years in the
Tsunami (March 11, 2011,
Japan). She called Yuko and
she took refuge on the roof of
a bank Onagawa, a small
fishing port on the east coast
of the country where it was
unfortunately taken away by a
wall of water nearly 20 meters
. I had the chance to get in
touch with Mr Takamatsu who
agreed that I pay tribute to
his wife with a piano piece
called "Yuko
Takamatsu."
La légende d'Arkamys
Legend of Arkamys
Written on 2011-10-31 by sylvain-guinet "The Legend of
Arkamys": a beautiful
hidden islands of the seas
since ancient times. Some say
it's a legend, and others
certify that a captain by the
name of Hernandez and his crew
would, after multiple
crossings, found Arkamys
...
Arkamys, the great mythical
archipelago is composed of a
set of islands as beautiful
and different from each other.
The captain would have
inhabited for years by each
one of four ethnic groups
around the world, recreating
Mother Earth in miniature.
Carnet de Voyages
Written on 2010-06-12 by sylvain-guinet
Carnet de voyage is the first
meeting of two amateur
composers who appreciate and
respect. Hence the desire to
work together, the idea of a
joint quickly emerged:
proposed 10
"postcards" on
imaginary places, historical
or current forcing
inspiration.
Each with his own sensibility,
addresses five areas of their
choice, as the traveler noting
his impressions, along with
sketches, regroup and form a
collection.
We wish you ... Good travel!
