Nowadays, counting with a twenty-year career as a composer Vincent Alexander Jockin (Member of the SACEM) is already the author of more than fifty pieces for various formations (orchestra, choir, quartet, piano, etc.). Several pieces were distinguished at festivals and composition competitions (USA, United Kingdom). Since 2012, the growing interest of world music performers for this music gives rise to more and more premieres (France, Bulgaria, Spain, Croatia, Australia...).
In 2012 Vincent Alexandre Jockin produced an album entirely dedicated to his music: “Works, Volume 1”, recorded and produced at F.A.M.E.’S. Project Studio (Skopje, Republic Of Macedonia), and performed by the Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra. For the very first time in his early career, the composer can finally share his music with a wider audience.
In 2013, The Velika Gorica Brass Festival 2013 (Croatie) offcially commissions a quintet for trumpet and string quartet. This is an opportunity for the composer to meet international musicians, to befriend some of them, and to see that his music can affect both the performers and the audience. Unquestionably, the beginning of new musical journeys.
