The addition of sheet music, mp3 et midi with the members area must respect the french copyright laws.
The ARTIST grants VRCI for the duration of the royalties and for VRCI, the non exclusive rights of hosting and sharing on FREE-SCORES.COM without cost or royalty, those FILES of which The ARTIST has uploaded to Free-scores.com for this purpose.

The ARTIST will be able to revoke this authorization by simple mail addressed to VRCI or by deleting files on the member area.
The pages and the files of the ARTIST will then be deleted from the Free-scores.com site.

In addition, The ARTIST guarantees so that to in no case can a third part demand payment from VRCI for royalties and/or of patent rights on the FILES concerned. VRCI guarantees that no use of the contents and the FILES transmitted by the ARTIST will be exploited by VRCI and VRCI will in no case sell, rent use of or collect any payment for the FILES without prior consent of THE ARTIST.

PDF SHEET MUSIC FILES:

The free sheet music on free-scores.com can be put online only for one of the 3 following cases:

• An original composition :
It is about an original sheet music you have written, You should be the sole copyright owner of this piece.
You have the possibility on your account to activate or not the diffusion of mp3 interpretation of your works by the other members.

• A new arrangement or an edition of out-of-copyright work..
It is about a sheet music that you have published by your own means (by a writing notation software).
The work must be in the public domain under French law: 70 years after the composer's death and over by exception (years of wars).

• A scanned sheet music of an out-of-copyright work / a public domain score.
A scanned work wich is in public domain. The publisher must also be from before 1923 for foreign publisher.
If it concern a french publisher, the publisher must not be in activity anymore.
Please note that you cannot add the works scanned coming from other Internet sites without their explicit authorization.

The sheet music will have to be in PDF format and must include :
- The composer name
- If it is an arrangment you must indicate the arranger identity
- A Licence : "Copyright", "All right reserved", "Public Domain" or other licence.

By sharing your sheet music on free-scores.com, you grant the permission to free-scores.com to diffuse them free with the other visitors.
You however keep all your rights on your pieces and the visitors of free-scores.com do not have any rights to redistribute them or to sell them.

MP3 AUDIO FILES:

By putting MP3 on the site you agree which your file returns in one of the following cases: :

• You yourself playing, or uploaded with full permission of everyone playing on the recording

• You have performed a sheet music from an other member.
In this case, your rights on the piece are limited to your interpretation. Any other diffusion/service of the piece within another framework that free-scores.com will have to be done with the agreement of the composer /arranger .

By sharing your mp3 on free-scores.com, you grant the permission to free-scores.com to diffuse them free with the other visitors.
You however keep all your rights on your pieces and the visitors of free-scores.com do not have any rights to redistribute them or to sell them. dre.

MIDI AUDIO FILES :

• You have created the midi yourself. You haven't take it from an other website.

By sharing your MIDI on free-scores.com, you grant the permission to free-scores.com to diffuse them free with the other visitors.
You however keep all your rights on your MIDIs and the visitors of free-scores.com do not have any rights to redistribute them or to sell them.
