This is my 1st Symphony that I just composed. This symphony has only 2 movements instead of 3 movements.

The 1st Movement is more lively and catchy. It starts with a short phrase at measures 1 to 2. In the 3rd measure, a harp enters in with a dramatic arpeggio. Then the orchestra comes back in with a big staccato chord at measure 17. We then go on with different themes in the 1st movement which contains different instruments in different sections playing the melody of each theme. It keeps on going until the original theme comes back in the violins. We close the 1st movement with an interesting phrase coming from the solo strings and woodwinds followed by a few chords till the very last note.

The 2nd movement starts with a harp and celeste solo. After a few measures, we hear a short phrase from the Solo flute, oboe, and clarinet. Oh! And did I forgot to tell you that in the string section, None of the strings in each section are not playing at all. EXCEPT for the one and only principal Viola Soloists who gets to play the entire solo through the entire 2nd movement at measures 92 to the end. Then we hear the melody repeatedly through the woodwinds and the french horn until the strings enter back in with the rest of the full orchestra at measure 246. until ALL the instruments come back in at measure 250. After a closing chord of all the instruments at measure 266, We suddenly get quieter and quieter in some of the sections until the very end which has that final chord from the strings and the woodwinds of the complete piece.

C'est très agréable à écouter. Le premier mouvement est gai et joyeux, le deuxième est plein de poésie. Il est dommage que tout soit écrit dans la même tonalité, ce qui oblige les musiciens à transposer. A part ce détail, c'est du joli travail.
