This is a fugue I wrote in October/November 2015 over a
well-known German Christmas carol by Friedrich Silcher
(who lived from 1789-1860, so that his works are in the
public domain).
Originally, I wanted it to be played on piano by a
soloist;
then it came to my mind that this piece should be
played on celesta,
so I chose two celestas, because it's such a hard piece
for only two hands.
