n. 1869 en Gaeta/Nápoles, Italia - m. 1910 en Buenos Aires Tenía sólo un año de edad cuando sus padres emigraron a la República Argentina, en cuya capital, con el transcurso del tiempo, hizo sus estudios de guitarra y de banjo, y cultivó luego el folklore nacional como un hijo más de aquellas tierras. Ejecutante dotado de cierto talento, su labor se hizo notar sobre todo en teatros, unas veces actuando en solitario y otras al frente de una rondalla que él mismo había creado. Para el banjo, instrumento del que también era profesor, publicó un método. Su producción musical publicada fue muy limitada ('Elisita', 'La porteñita', 'Soñando', 'La romántica', 'La floridense', etc.), llegando a unas quince piezas de carácter folklórico.
