This is a piece which is loosely based on japanese scales. I have long been interested in japanese culture and next year (in 2016) I plan to go to Japan for the first time. This piece was written in anticipation of that visit.

My piece "Conversations with Crusell" was selected for performance in the Transcending Time Call for scores. The performance will be on the 18th of April 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia.
