Catchy melodies, the composer's signature harmonic movement in unexpected directions... much to enjoy here for the advanced brass trio. Bravo!

Comme dans le premier trio, belle complémentarité des trois voix. Le rondo final déroule la peinture chevaleresque d'un héros parti tout feu tout flamme en croisade et qui se perd dans une traversée du désert (les transformations du motif initial traduisent très bien la dissolution de l'énergie) avant de reprendre sa charge à la Don Quichotte.
As in the first brass trio, beautiful complementarity of the three voices. The final rondo shows the knightly portrait of a hero who went full of passion for adventure, and who is lost in a crossing of the desert (the transformations of the initial pattern reflects very well the dissolution of energy) before rising again to Don Quixote.
