A suite of 4 short pieces (2:30 each) in Renaissance
styles, setting 4 well-known quotes from the prose of
John Muir. The suite portrays one fine day in the
mountains.
Great song, good idea with the 4 parts, nevertheless, it would sometimes be fine to put more links between them, and a kind of chorus. But it's nice to hear and nice to play, especially for the 1st time. Well done ! Violin for 6 years, but have not a very high level.
Visitor kristin rated the difficulty of this piece as "easy/facile/debutant". However, I believe she may have been referring only to the flute part? For the SATB chorus, I think "Intermediate" is appropriate because there are a few sections with interweaving rhythms or with modulations. I hope you enjoy it!
