Well, this piece of music is dear to me. I am a Hungarian and do work as a \"csikos\" - a Hungarian horse wrangler, horseman. This piece of music is about \"us\", delivering mail to far away villages and farms (back in the 18 hundreds anyway). Even though written by a German (?) composer, it does reflect the speed, agility and freedom we Csikos have. I salute all you who enjoy this piece.
