The Londonderry Air is an air that originated from County Londonderry in Ireland (now Northern Ireland). It is popular among the Irish diaspora and is very well known throughout the world. The tune is played as the victory anthem of Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games. "Danny Boy" is a popular set of lyrics to the tune.

Dr Mr Gibson I have often listened to your wonderful work here on this site and it has brought me much pleasure. I suffer from Parkinsons disease and have an awful time of it at times. Music has been a great friend of mine all my life and now at 59 its a great comforter. When I'm not shaking uncontrollably from toe to head I still manage to string together the odd tune on my guitar, and of late I have been trying out several of you arrangements which I have been getting great satisfaction from. Thank you sir for the wonderful work you do and best wishes to you and yours from Edward Morton in Belfast N Ireland.
