Moritz Brosig (1815 - 1887) was a German composer and organist. He was born in in Fuchswinkel at Patschkau (Upper Silesia) and lived his life in in Breslau Germany.

Brosig attended the Breslauer Matthias High School and then studied music at the Breslau cathedral organist Franz Wolf . From 1853 to 1884 he was the Wroclaw cathedral organist and Director of Music and teacher at the Academic Institute for Church Music and Royal University Music Director. He received his doctorate at the Un...
