Thank you for your encouraging comments on my three parts (Leap in forest, Light-hearted andWaltz 18) . They make me great pleasure coming from a man of your quality. Of course, I took into account your advice. Thank you again.
So, this is #3 for me this afternoon. I am intrigued by the way you think of counterpoint, often making a choice I would not have thought of, but all of which work very well in your writing. This piece would be a fine addition to a children's album of piano solos (and would several other things I have heard of yours today). They seem to be diligent exercises that are carefully worked out and really quite delightful. (You DO like 12/8!) I am thinking that the recordings are done straight from the midi files without human input. I have tried each of the three I have listened to on an acoustic piano and they really come to life that way. I would encourage you to seek out a pianist to interpret your works if you are unable to do so yourself. I think you are writing some very nice things and I've enjoyed listening to them.
