Julio Salvador Sagreras nació en Argentina en 1879 y murió en 1942. Él era un guitarrista y compositor argentino. Ha dado muchas interpretaciones radiofónicas durante su vida.
Guitarrista, pedagogo y compositor argentino. Sus dos padres eran guitarristas, quienes le enseñaron la guitarra desde muy temprano. Julio Salvador Sagreras participó en conciertos a la edad de 6. A los 12 años, estudió piano y composición. Él avanzó rápidamente y se convirtió en profesor de guitarra en la Academia de Bellas Artes. En Buenos Aires, hizo amistad con el editor Francisco Nuñez, que había publicado un centenar de composiciones de Sagreras. En 1905 abrió su propia escuela, Academia de Guitarra. Entre 1900 y 1936, Julio Sagreras dio numerosos conciertos en salas de concierto y salones, y también participó en las emisiones de radio.
Sagreras también es conocido por su serie de clases de guitarra metódico y bien anotado. Se compone de siete libros que llevan al estudiante desde el principiante hasta el avanzado. La serie está tan bien pensado y tan gradualmente progresivo que a menudo se ha dicho que el alumno pueda aprender por sí mismo
