duo comprised of Dr. Cindy Behmer, oboe, English horn

Sonate 1 by G.F. Händel.
Among some of the favorite, but rarely heard
instruments of the modern orchestra to play alone,
these instruments have not been previously paired in

Sonate 1 by G.F. Händel.
Among some of the favorite, but rarely heard
instruments of the modern orchestra to play alone,
these instruments have not been previously paired in
duos. Behmer and Campbell have commissioned work
written especially for them, and this is an attempt to
increase their repitoire with additional pieces rich in
tactile harmony, providing tempo variations and timbre
depth.
I reconstructed the Sonate in unconventional form in 4
short movements (Adagio, Allegro, Larghetto & Vivace).
