Couperin's delightful and well-known Le Moucheron, no 8
of his harpsichord collection, deuxieme livre, ordre
six (published 1717), is here arranged for 4 flutes. I
have filled in some of the harmonies of the mainly
2-part original so that all players may partake of the
fun.
