Satoshi Yagisawa’s often-dramatic concert band works are not only played in his homeland of Japan, but also throughout Asia and further a_x001F_field. The commission for this work in fact came from Taiwan, upon which Yagisawa drew inspiration from the traditional hunting songs of the Taroko, a people native to Eastern Taiwan.
De indrukwekkende werken van Satoshi Yagisawa worden niet enkel in zijn thuisland Japan veel gespeeld, maar staan intussen wereldwijd op het programma. In dit werk, dat hij schreef in opdracht van de Taiwain Clinic, haalde de componist zijn inspiratie uit traditionale jachtliederen van de Taroko stam in Oost-Taiwan.
Die oft dramatischen Blasorchesterwerke von Satoshi Yagisawa werden nicht nur in seiner Heimat Japan, sondern in ganz Asien und darüber hinaus gespielt. Aus Taiwan kam der Auftrag zu diesem Werk, zu dem er sich von den traditionellen Jagdliedern des in Osttaiwan beheimateten Volkes der Taroko inspirieren ließ.
Les oeuvres du compositeur japonais Satoshi Yagisawa sont interprétées bien au-del des frontières de son pays natal. Il fut prié, en outre, d’écrire une nouvelle pièce fondée sur les chansons de chasse traditionnelles de la tribu des Truku, originaire de l’est de Ta wan en vue de promouvoir la culture ta wanaise travers le monde. La fama delle composizioni di Satoshi Yagisawa, spesso di carattere drammatico, ha oltrepassato i confi_x001E_ni del suo paese natale, il Giappone. La musica di Yagisawa è conosciuta ed apprezzata in tutto l’estremo oriente e da Taiwan è arrivato l’incarico di comporre Hunting Scenes che, come rivela il titolo, si ispira alla caccia in generale e a tradizionali canzoni venatorie in particolare.
