Verbum supernum prodiens (2016) was written for the 107th Annual Christmas Carol Services of The Memorial Church, Harvard University, December 2016. It is dedicated to the memory of composer Pauline Oliveros (1932-2016). Subtitled a chantscape, the music is an atmospheric evocation of the text through chant-like music that builds to the end. This work is intended for performance in a reverberant space with the three groups of voices spatially separated around the audience.
