The Iona Community & Sermon in Stone contains two films about the Iona Community and an interview with the current leader, Kathy Galloway. The first film, The Iona Community: Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Hope, chronicles the evolution of the community from its experimental beginnings to what it has become today. Sermon in Stone is an archival film from the 1960s that shows the reconstruction of the Iona Abbey. Narrated by the community’s founder, George MacLeod, this 32-minute film spans the development of the reconstruction from the late 1930s through the end of the 1960s.
