This is the soundtrack to the 1952 French film Jeux Interdits, composed by Marc Lanjean. This work is arranged for Solo Piano.
The film tells the heartbreaking story of two children in the Second World War who come together over the loss of innocent animals. The film received overwhelming critical acclaim outside of its native France, where it initially went criminally unappreciated. It was so acclaimed that it won a special award for an out of competition film at the 25th Academy Awards. The soundtrack for Jeux Interdits is fittingly beautiful for such a sentimental movie, but is also a greatly uplifting piece that willbe a joy to hear and play.
