A bagatelle is a short piece of music, usually for piano. The name means "a short unpretentious instrumental composition" as a reference to the light style of a piece. Each of the nine bagatelles has a different mood, from lyrical and expressive to rhythmic and energetic. These delightful miniatures each are a bit over 2' in duration and may be played individually or in smaller groups.
