If you like pieces that are challenging and bit more showy than run-of-the-mill, this collection is for you. Although not necessarily difficult, they do take some working out. The results will be well worth it. The collection contains a rousing prelude on TRURO; a toccata on EASTER HYMN; two variants on O FILII ET FILIAE; trumpet tune on DIADEMATA; and a quieter trio on VRUECHTEN. Matthew Corl writes in an ebullient style that is both fun to play and fun to hear.
