An early tonal work by one of our leading modernists. Might be described as Brahms meets Gershwin. Written for the composer to play on his graduation recital from college. Until it was recorded by Jean Kopperud and Eliza Garth on Centaur CRC2321 it was not performed again.(1951, 13 minutes).
