It is intended that this be done in a symphonic style that pays respect to each of the strengths of these wonderful carols. It is hoped that when you hear this arrangement that you might think that these carols were always meant to be together.Strive to bring across the sound of bells throughout the arrangement. Be careful of the ritard. going into the maestoso statement of Greensleeves. It has a tendency to "sneak up" on ensemble.As with all of my pieces for younger students, the tempo indicated is merely a guide. Adjust the tempo to fit the needs of your students.
