There are technical similarities between the two sets, in that both pieces incorporate techniques such as legato and staccato playing, slurs and glissandi. However, in Five-Spot I have employed a slightly larger range, somewhat more challenging rhythms and have used all 7 positions. Therefore, I classed the pieces as being of advanced beginner or intermediate difficulty. I have also included intermediate-level piano accompaniment.
These pieces may be played separately or as a set. The tempi are meant as guides to indicate proper performance speed, but are certainly subject to modification as needed. They are also meant to be fun!
